How to Apply

The Enrollment Application is available at both the top and bottom of this page and must be submitted online.
2. Understand Enrollment Preferences.
In accordance with F.S. 1002.33(10) and applicable federal and state nondiscrimination laws, preferential enrollment may only be given to the following student populations during the lottery:

3. Review Our Academic Program.
Please note that Athenian Academy of Technology and the Arts follows an accelerated curriculum that includes nightly homework. Our academic program is designed to challenge students and support high levels of achievement. Families should carefully consider whether this educational approach aligns with their child’s needs and learning style.
4. Review Student Support Services.
Please note that not all schools offer the same services. If an applicant requires services that are not available at Athenian Academy, the school district will work collaboratively with the charter school and family to identify the educational placement that best supports the student’s needs.
5. Review Residency Requirements.
Students residing within the District may not be displaced by students from another district seeking enrollment under this Controlled Open Enrollment Process. Preference shall be given to students residing within the Pasco County School District.
6. Keep Your Contact Information Current.
All communication will be sent to the email address provided on the Enrollment Application. Parents and guardians are responsible for keeping this information up to date. If contact information changes, please notify the school immediately.
7. Monitor Lottery Notifications.
If a student’s name is selected during the lottery, parents or guardians will be notified by email at the conclusion of the lottery and will have 48 hours to respond and complete the required paperwork.
8. Complete Registration Requirements.
Upon receiving an acceptance letter by email, families will have two days to respond and complete all registration paperwork.
